Support
A real person reads every message. Write to us and we will reply.
We aim to reply within two working days. If something is wrong with money you are owed, say so in the subject line and we will look sooner.
What helps us fix it faster
- Your iPhone model and iOS version (Settings → General → About).
- The Zeroly version (Account → About).
- The name of the group and roughly when it happened.
- A screenshot, if the problem is something you can see.
Please do not send us your Apple ID or Google password. We will never ask for one.
Common questions
A balance looks wrong
Open the group and check the individual entries first — balances in Zeroly are arithmetic on what people entered, so a wrong balance is almost always a wrong entry: a typo in an amount, the wrong person marked as payer, or an unequal split that was meant to be equal. Every entry shows who added it and when. If the entries are right and the balance still looks wrong, send us the group name and we will investigate.
I paid someone but the balance did not change
Paying someone in the real world does not change anything in Zeroly by itself — the app does not see your bank. Record it: Settle up in the group, choose the person and the amount.
Someone I invited cannot join
Invite links can be regenerated or disabled by whoever created them, and a disabled link stops working immediately. Open the group's settings and share a fresh link. The person needs the Zeroly app installed for the link to open the group directly.
I am not getting notifications
Check iOS Settings → Zeroly → Notifications is allowed, then Account → Notifications in the app, where each kind can be switched off separately. If you signed in on a new phone, the old one stops receiving them.
Multiple currencies
Zeroly keeps a separate balance per currency, and does not convert between them. If you are owed €30 and owe $20, those are two facts and stay two facts. That is deliberate: converting would mean picking an exchange rate and a date, and getting either wrong would misstate what someone owes.
Subscription, billing and refunds
Subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by us. Manage or cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Write to us anyway if something went wrong — we would rather know than not.
If your subscription lapses, nothing is deleted or hidden. You keep full access to your history, and you can still settle up, export and delete your account.
Deleting my account
Account → Delete account, in two taps. See what happens to your data.
Reporting abuse or a security problem
To report harassment or abusive content, use the report option in the app where the content appears, or email us. We act on reports and will respond within one working day.
If you have found a security vulnerability, please write to support@zeroly.app with "security" in the subject line and give us a reasonable chance to fix it before disclosing it. We will not pursue you for reporting one in good faith.
